Research profile

   Data Analysis and Modeling in Medicine, Mannheim Institute for Intelligent Systems in Medicine (MIISM), established at Heidelberg University, Medical Faculty Mannheim in 2007, is an international, interdisciplinary team of 15-20 full-time researchers from the fields of mathematics, computer engineering, computer science, and physics. The research focuses on modern computational physics with application in life sciences. Research fields are inverse problems for image reconstruction, restauration, and analysis, simulation, and modeling as well as instrumentation.
